Classic Yachts International Recent Sales

Classic Yachts International, Inc., Florida’s Grand Banks Yachts Dealer, is pleased to announce the sale of the new 2009 Grand Banks 59 Aleutian RP Hull #30 by Steve Fithian, based in Fort Lauderdale.  Steve has also sold the new 2009 GB47 Heritage EU Hull #80 and new 2008 GB55 Eastbay SX Hull #03.  Jay Rhoades, in the Fort Lauderdale office, has sold the 2009 GB47 Heritage CL Hull #77.  Jonathan R. Wilkes, in the Fort Lauderdale office, has sold the 2009 GB47 Heritage EU Hull #87.

Classic Yachts International 2009 Rendezvous

Classic Yachts International hosted their Grand Banks Rendezvous at Ocean Reef Club, in Key Largo, Florida this past March. One thing you can count on, Florida Grand Banks owners are out using their boats, and a reason to go to the Keys is always well received! Everyone was ready to unwind and have some fun in the sun. As always, there was a great turnout of owners, their families and friends.

Attendees were greeted by palm trees swaying in the breeze, sandy beaches, and warm weather in abundance. Highlights included the ladies boat handling class which is always a very popular event. Captains/husbands watch out! These Florida boating women are skilled and ready to go! There were also lectures on cruising the Keys and Bahamas, electronics and engine seminars, and the latest news from Grand Banks. In between all this fun and frivolity, a NEW Grand Banks 65 Aleutian RP was christened with her owners Rose and Dieter Evertz.

Sea trials were also available on a selection of new yachts brought in for everyone to preview. Life jacket counts had to be made as most all attendees went out on a new yacht at least once! Between all the activities were fantastic food, great entertainment, good camaraderie, and wonderful Florida weather.

Main Office Moved To Harbour Towne Marina

Classic Yachts International's main office has also expanded (and doubled in size), with its move to Harbour Towne Marina in Dania, FL just 2 miles south of the old location.
The new address is: 850 NE 3rd St., Suite 204, Dania Beach, FL 33004.

Phone numbers for the Fort Lauderdale main office remain the same. The new suite of offices in Harbour Towne Marina offers two important advantages for our customers:
• Larger, more comfortable offices with a dedicated service department.
• Dockage and full service boatyard better suited to serve our clients’ needs.

CYI Appointed GB Dealer West Coast Of FL

Following the company’s appointment as the Authorized Dealer for Grand Banks Yachts on the west coast of Florida, Classic Yachts International (CYI) has opened a new office on Florida's west coast, at Cape Harbour Marina, Cape Coral, Florida.

The company is pleased to announce Brian Duffy as Sales Manager of the Cape Coral office. Brian brings many years of Grand Banks experience and knowledge to the Classic Yachts International sales team.

"We are very excited to represent Grand Banks Yachts on both coasts of Florida," says Steve Fithian, President of Classic Yachts International. "We're going to implement our many years of professional Grand Banks knowledge and expertise that has worked so well on the east coast, and replicate it on the west coast."

As with all Classic Yachts International offices, this Cape Coral location offers the complete line of new Grand Banks Yachts: Heritage, Aleutian and Eastbay Series, as well as select pre-owned brokerage yachts. Classic Yachts International will exhibit new Grand Banks yachts at the Fort Myers and St. Petersburg boat shows this Fall.

Soon, Classic Yachts International will be opening a second west coast location in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area. All of the west coast offices will be full-service Grand Banks dealerships, as well as offering yacht brokerage services. A search for a new location and staff for the Tampa/St. Petersburg area office is underway, as well as for additional yacht sales staff for all of our Classic Yachts International offices.
