This new model builds on all the things that have made the Grand Banks Heritage Series the most successful production cruising yacht design in history. Then the GB47CL takes it a step further, establishing new standards of performance, quality and design. With a new hull (redesigned in collaboration with Sparkman & Stephens), twin tunnels in the hull, bigger props and state-of-the-art C-9 ACERT engines, the GB47CL reaches top speeds of more than 20 knots. The interior features a bigger salon, redesigned helm station and a new “half-down” galley. Appointments such as granite counter tops, icemaker, dual A/C systems, and Stidd flybridge seats have raised the “luxury” level to new heights. Flybridge stairs lift up on gas-assist pistons to provide access to the engine room. The galley is all on one level with the salon. The large covered aft deck and side decks are part of the Heritage EU’s signature, along with an extremely low maintenance exterior. A huge flybridge has a wet bar, lots of storage for bulky items, plus a settee and table. Grand Banks hired a professional design company to revise the interior appointments to be more yacht-like, but the teak interior and superb craftsmanship retain plenty of Grand Banks tradition. Performance has been upgraded in this new generation of Grand Banks, with a modified deep-V hull and keel. She is equipped with 567hp CAT C-9 Acert diesel engines, for top speeds to 20 knots.
